Gosford jeweller’s 50 years
The first manufacturing jewellers on the Central Coast established by the late Peter Quinn and his wife Irene in 1974. Creating and selling a unique collection of bespoke jewellery pieces.
Peter had completed his jewellery apprenticeship in 1968. After gaining another 6 years of knowledge working for a jeweller in Parramatta he decided to start his own business and chose Gosford as it was a thriving town.
He started in an upstairs office on the corner of Donnison and Mann Street. Within a year he had hired his first apprentice. As the business grew he moved to bigger premises eventually opening a big retail shop in the centre of Gosford and employing a staff of five with four trained jewellers. His son Aaron joined the business as an apprentice in 1995.
After the sudden death of Peter Quinn in 2000, Aaron poured his passion and expertise into continuing the reputation of Quinn Fine Jewellery being the best in our field. Aaron completed a gem setting course of two years in Sydney and then in Antwerp with a Master Setter.
Today Quinn Fine Jewellery is the longest established jewellery store on the Central Coast specialising in one of a kind pieces of jewellery and being recognised for their craftsmanship and service.
