New franchisee for Gosford tyre retailer

Following a decision earlier this year by The Goodyear & Dunlop Tyres company to close down their Beaurepaires tyre retailing operation their Gosford branch has been taken over by Roadsmart Fleet.

Roadsmart Fleet Dunlop Super Dealer) is operated by Trent McWaide who also owns Goodyear Autocare Wyong and a Roadsmart store in Newcastle.

This is the third store within the network and is family owned and operated by Trent McWaide and his father-in-law, Tom Olyslagers. They established their first store Roadsmart Fleet - Steel River (Newcastle) in 2015 and have since grown with the purchase of another Beaurepaires store in Wyong.

They have since converted the Wyong store into a Goodyear Autocare. The operation has seen an increase in turnover of over 100% in both stores with a focus on customer service, finding the right product at the right price for their customers and also community.

Mr McWaide said that they are both committed and enthusiastic about the future of Gosford CBD and the Central Coast Region as a whole. “This was a major contributing factor in the decision to purchase our latest store that is situated at the intersection of Mann Street and Racecourse Road,” he said.
