NSW Premier attends ‘Topping Out’ of ALAND’s Archibald development in Gosford CBD
The NSW Premier Chris Minns was the special guest at a ‘topping out’ ceremony for Archibald by ALAND in early September. A milestone for the highly anticipated mixed-use development in the heart of Gosford.
The event marked the topping out of Archibald’s highest tower, was also attended by ALAN Founder and Owner Andrew Hrsto and CEO George Tadrossse, local business leaders, civic officials, Minister for the Central Coast The Hon David Harris MP and Ms Liesl Tesch, Member for Gosford.
The development includes 327 residential apartments, a 130-room voco® hotel and six hospitality venues, including the Central Coast’s highest rooftop bar.
The Archibald Precinct consists of two towers (27 and 28 storeys respectively), a 130-room voco® hotel, ground floor pub with pizzeria and pasta bar, a swimming-pool with swim-up bar and a Grand Ballroom and rooftop bar on level 28.
The Food and Beverage venues, which include a signature restaurant on level 5, are being curated by renowned Sydney chef Dany Karam.
Mr Hrsto said that the $375m Archibald Precinct will not only bring new life and employment to Gosford’s downtown area, but also help to reposition the city as the state’s newest tourist and conference destination.
Buyer demand for apartments has been intense since Archibald was first released to the public in early 2023, with 95% of the apartments already sold.
ALAND CEO George Tadrosse said that the Archibald Precinct will do more than just transform the nighttime economy of Gosford, helping to reposition the city as a major new tourism and conference destination.
Once it is up-and-running voco® Gosford will employ in excess of 200 people, creating exciting new opportunities for local people who want to pursue a career in catering, hospitality or event management.
“This is the beginning a great new chapter for Gosford,” said Mr Tadrosse.
