Gosford Hotel opened in 1926. In 1998 Peter Harris and his wife Jane bought the Hotel which is now undergoing a $13 million renovation which will be the ‘jewel in the crown’ of Gosford.
This story is about Peter Harris who was brought up in a publican family and he and wife Jane bought their first hotel in Whitton in 1978.
Today, with partners Gary and Kerry Narvo they own: The Bayview at Woy Woy, The Lakes Hotel at The Entrance, Hotel Jesmond in Newcastle and Banjo Paterson Inn at Jindabyne.
Their first hotel was in Grenfell in the state’s Central West and then Rutherford in the Hunter Valley.
The Harris & Narvo partnership was formed when they bought The Bayview Hotel Woy Woy in 2001 and have been partners ever since buying up another four hotels
Jordan Harris came on board sixteen years ago and now oversees the hotels as Peter Harris and Gary Narvo and their wives move into semi-retirement.
