The Salvation Army has placed its former Drug Rehabilitation Centre at 1467 Dooralong Road, Dooralong on the market through agents CBRE with Expressions of Interest closing 1st May 2024.

The property, which was originally built as a resort and known as Dooralong Valley Resort opened in the early 1990s was a significant tourist accommodation attraction.

The Salvation Army acquired it in 2010.

The property comprises 140.1Ha with a 665 metres frontage to Dooralong Road in the Dooralong Valley with RU2 Rural Landscape zoning.

The 137Ha property comprises a central building with 20 hotel suites, conference and function centre and dining room/restaurant plus 45 x 2 bedroom cottages located around the property. Other features include: entertainment facilities such as a Gymnasium, Dams, Golf, Pools, tennis courts, volleyball, animal sanctuary and a Wildlife sanctuary.
