After a three year absence due to COVID-19, the Brisbane Water Oyster Festival is finally coming back! The Peninsula Chamber of Commerce has confirmed that the Oyster Festival will be returning to Woy Woy on Sunday 12th November to be held at Lions Park on the Brisbane Water. Following more than 30 years of argument and 11 months of construction, the new boardwalk linking Terrigal Beach to The Haven was officially opened by Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch in mid-April. Holiday letting agents at Ettalong and Terrigal are reporting the best June long weekend for years. Stephen Brooks from Accom Holiday Rentals told CCBR that all their properties in Ettalong Beach, Terrigal and Avoca Beach were fully booked.
